Commercial Litigation - We handle a wide variety of disputes in federal and state court for individuals and businesses.

Vendor Disputes:
- Represented numerous companies and individuals in vendor disputes ranging from small matters to disputes involving more than $3,000,000.00.
- Represented a freestanding emergency room in a large, multi-party litigation matter involving fees that a third-party vendor charged for medical equipment that my Client alleged was defective. After several years of complex litigation, we entered into a favorable settlement for my Client after establishing the equipment was defective prior to delivery.
- Represented a large Hospital in a lawsuit brought by a linen service provider alleging the Hospital had improperly terminated its service agreement.
- Represented an alarm service company in a commercial dispute with a telecommunications provider regarding the provider improperly transferred phone lines to my Client’s facility.
- Represented a large homeowner’s association in several vendor disputes regarding the termination of contracts which were executed immediately prior to the election of the incoming board.
Real Estate Litigation:
- Represented a health care provider in removing numerous liens placed on the facility prior to the sale by an equipment manufacturer.
- Represented a commercial property owner in a lawsuit alleging that its tenant had improperly deducted “repair costs” from its rental payment and/or failed to make electrical repairs in accordance with various codes.
- Represented several commercial property owners in eviction proceedings and/or other lawsuits regarding tenants failing to pay rent.
- Represented several property owners in commercial construction matters involving property defects, warranties, and related matters.
Shareholder Disputes:
- Represented a Houston-based restaurant and its owner in a dispute between two co-owners regarding the ownership of the business.
- Represented the minority owners of a Houston-based hotel in a dispute involving the alleged failure to provide information regarding the company.
Commercial Collections:
- Represented a multinational company in numerous commercial collection cases involving past due invoices often exceeding $200,000.00.
Other:
- Represented musician in dispute regarding royalty payments to agent for concert revenue for European Tour Dates.
- Represented Apartment Complex in Class Action lawsuit involving hundreds of tenants alleging various property code violations.
- Obtained summary judgment for owners of Houston Commercial Property in complex litigation regarding the expiration of a pawn shop license following the sale of a commercial property.

Healthcare - Representing health care providers with transactional services, compliance review, and litigation services.

I provide general representation to approximately twenty (20) healthcare providers, including hospitals, imagining centers, emergency rooms, group practices, and individual physicians.
Represented numerous healthcare providers in joint ventures and at least 500 other commercial healthcare transactions involving commercial contracts, facility sales, leases, and other items.
Regularly represent providers in providing regulatory advice regarding the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and numerous other state and federal regulations.
Represented more than forty (40) physicians in reviewing their employment and/or independent contractor agreements.

Real Estate - Representing private and commercial parties in real estate transactions.

Represented numerous Clients in buying, selling, and leasing real estate.
Represent commercial and residential landlords in Houston and throughout the State of Texas.
Served as lead attorney in the multimillion-dollar sale of a commercial property in downtown Houston.
Represented a 192-Unit Condominium Association in Houston, TX.
Represented individuals and companies in the negotiation of various oil and gas leases, easements, sale of water rights, and related issues.
Represented numerous commercial property owners in appeals of ad valorem tax assessments concerning millions of dollars in at least 15 counties across the State of Texas.

Commercial Contracts - Drafting and reviewing a wide range of commercial agreements for individuals and business.

Setup at least 100 entities, including limited liability companies, corporations, and limited partnerships. Also, I have drafted and negotiated company agreements and bylaws for numerous entities.
Provided general representation to the non-profit entity responsible for managing the International Space Station. I advised the Client on more than 30 agreements involving research traveling to the ISS, as well as more than 100 consulting and subcontractor agreements.
Represented buyers and sellers in the sales of more than 20 companies across the State of Texas. I have structured both asset and stock purchase agreements.
Represented companies in loan transactions in excess of $10,000,000.00.
